Technicolor's Film, Episodic VFX and Animation division is looking for a Social Media Executive, to join the Marketing team, based in London. The role will be responsible for creating and planning social content and helping to define the social strategy, across all studios. They will develop eye catching and engaging social creative, informed by data-based insights, emerging social trends and knowledge of the communities.

The role will report into the FEV Global Marketing Director, working in partnership with the marketing leads. The candidate should be comfortable optimizing content across different platforms and working with teams across multiple locations, globally. They will manage all social media channels to sustain and engage audiences, improve the group's social media presence and overall creative output.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all social media accounts for the FEV & Animation brands
• Develop engaging, creative content for regularly scheduled posts, around key shows, talent, people & culture, technology stories and events
• Audit and analyses of all social media platforms, including paid campaigns
• Own all content calendars across the group
• Work with Marketing teams to help define social strategy for each of the brands
• Leverage internal resources, community feedback, and upcoming trends within visual effects and animation, to develop content that drives positive engagement and audience development
• Deliver routine audience audits and competitive benchmarking to optimize growth
• Develop a range of social media KPIs
• Compile and conduct reporting, monitoring, and analyses to meet content KPIs
• Report to marketing teams weekly on the latest social trends
• Activate paid promotional plans where applicable
• Manage public and private engagement with followers on all platforms, supporting the recruitment team when required

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Experience working in social media marketing
• Experienced in Photoshop, Indesign and video editing tools
• Experience in using social monitoring/listening tools to deliver reports
• Excellent creative copy writing skills and strong eye for design
• Ability to deliver social reports and analyze data to help inform strategy
• A good understanding of marketing and communications in film and entertainment
• A creative problem-solver who is self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive
• Ability to research, gather, and interpret data, as well as test and iterate ideas
• Up to date with the latest in digital trends and social platforms
• Ability to multitask and manage projects to meet deadlines
• Flexible schedule - potentially including evenings and weekends when required
• Highly organized; skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing workload
• Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• A keen interest in film and entertainment
