MATCHMOVE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

The TCS Academy Matchmove Course offers a 15-week comprehensive journey into

the intricate world of camera tracking and scene integration. From understanding

the fundamentals of parallax and lens distortion to mastering the UI of essential

software like 3DEqualizer, Maya, and Nuke, students explore the core principles of

matchmoving.

Through hands-on activities such as 2D tracking, lineup with LIDAR scans, and

camera solving, participants hone their skills in aligning virtual elements with liveaction

footage.

Advanced topics like manual camera tracking in both 3DEqualizer and Maya further

elevate their proficiency, while discussions on tools, scripts, and handling rolling

shutter effects provide a well-rounded understanding of the craft.

Each module culminates in a thorough review and revision, ensuring a deep

comprehension of the concepts covered.
