YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are offering an opportunity to an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Motion Design Apprentice to be an integral part of the Design/VFX Team, in support of our brand partners.

The WarnerMedia Studios Apprenticeship program is a two-year program geared to grow young talent
who dream of being storytellers and have a passion to pursue a career as a Motion Designer. Candidates should have knowledge or/and experience with the foundations of design essentials such as creative thinking, an understanding of color and motion theory, typography, interpersonal communication and organizational skills, graphic design and layout, and organized file management.

In the first year the Motion Design Apprentice will develop core essentials experience, plus gain knowledge of social workflows, understand sports branding, work towards building their skill set and provide graphic session support for the Design team. There will be an extensive focus on the utilization of the Adobe Creative Suite. The second year will consist of continuing to work with producers and designers, building relationships, focusing on design skills, and elevation to the next skill level.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Concept, design and execute creative assets in support of our network and corporate partners
• Understand and execute multi-layered deliverables
• Collaborate with fellow craftspeople in Sound Design, Editorial and Design/VFX
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and support creative teams as needed
• Show originality by providing unique solutions to solve problems with stylistic variety
• Manage personal and project time frames and complete assigned tasks on schedule
• Demonstrate risk taking and innovation and push skills by looking for creative opportunities in each task

The stories we tell aren't always told during bankers' hours, or in a 40-hour work week - you've got to be all in! Keep in mind, though, work/life balance is incredibly important to our teams, plus we're a flexible bunch.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
• MUST PROVIDE A DEMO REEL/ONLINE PORTFOLIO/WORK SAMPLES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE. Please include a link on your resume when applying.
• *Tip*-worked on anything in the sports realm? Include it! Any promos, sizzles, short form, etc., for big entertainment brands scripted or unscripted? Let's check it out!
• Showcase your TOP pieces that help show us why YOU would be the best creative for this role.
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly After Effects
• 1+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced environment, television post-production preferred
• Creative flair for storytelling
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines
• It's a plus if you know how to code with Expressions for AfterEffects!
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Familiarity with file management
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and time management skills
• Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative
• Knowledge of social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram
• Knowledge of Maya, C4D, Nuke, Resolve a huge plus
