The Job

WarnerMedia seeks Show Launch Strategy Manager for the TBS/TNT/truTV Marketing Strategy department.

The Daily
• Develop and manage show launch strategies for TBS, TNT and truTV originals:
• Define the role of the show and what success looks like
• Determine what makes the show unique
• Build high-propensity targets
• Write the creative positioning and sells
• Map the communication strategy & consumer journey
• Work with a cross-functional team to ensure that all creative and media executions are on strategy to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Infuse data into every facet of the launch and strategy process from target definition to creative testing
• Ensure all marketing activities are set up against the right targets and the right creative is being deployed in high profile placements
• Monitor media performance, viewership, tracking and social metrics to adjust audience targets and creative themes on the fly
• Make the Marketing Organization smarter with every campaign

The Essentials
• You have 5-7 experience in a strategy, marketing, research or advertising role (media experience preferred)
• You have a Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Media or related field preferred)
• You view the world through an analytical lens and love finding simple answers to complex questions
• You have a curious mind and are a creative problem solver
• You can toggle between right and left brain thinking and can use data to inform creative direction
• You are fluent in media metrics and enjoy digging into the numbers
• You have exceptional communication skills with the ability to sell a strategy to management and influence peer groups
• You are a self-starter who loves to manage project details
• You take pride in juggling multiple projects and your ability to seamlessly shift from big picture thinking to executional details
• You have a passion for marketing, entertainment, and cultural trends
