People that are driven to disrupt the status quo and not just looking for another job, We are seeking a Sr. Director - Strategic Finance / FP&A with a proven track record of executing top-tier financial forecasting and reporting processes for multi-faceted businesses. This role is that of a player-coach, spending 20% of their time managing an analyst and the other 80% being an individual contributor. Over time this can shift with existing heads transferring into the team or as new resources are added. We are seeking a sharp, hands-on leader with an analytical mind, who is results-driven and can motivate their team & the rest of the company to exceed expectations.

• Work hand-in-hand with the accounting team to audit and close Tastemade's month-end financial cycle
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the main financial model built in Adaptive
• Update the forecast and create annual budgets that accurately reflect the company's financial performance and future growth potential
• Lead the preparation of financial reports, analyses, and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders
• Drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives within the finance function, utilizing technology and automation to streamline financial reporting and analysis
• Develop and execute financial plans and strategies that drive business performance, working closely with senior management to identify growth opportunities and drive revenue growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including accounting, sales, people ops and content to ensure alignment of financial planning and analysis with business objectives
• Manage the FP&A team: allocate work streams across resources, prioritize deliverables based on changing needs, QA the team's output, provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success
• Develop and execute financial plans and strategies that drive business performance, working closely with senior management to identify growth opportunities and drive revenue growthWhat you'll bring:
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical or quantitative discipline from a top-tier university/school; Master's degree is a plus but not required
• 8+ years of quantitative and/or financial analysis experience with at least 3 years in banking, consulting, or similar fast-paced, high-pressure environment preferred
• Experience in media and entertainment is a plus but not required
• Prior experience with financial statements and modeling, especially in cloud-based systems like Adaptive, Anaplan, or the like is strongly preferred
• Proficient in building complex, in-depth analyses from the ground up using Excel
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing teams, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

How we'll take care of you:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay range for this role in the US is between $180,000 and $210,000. The range listed is just one component of Tastemade's total compensation package for employees. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: candidate qualifications, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus or commission, equity, benefits, and/or other incentives.
