POSITION OVERVIEW
The COVID Compliance Officers, Health Safety are dedicated to enforcement and implementation of the Health Safety policy and providing resources to all employees, volunteers, and Festival-attendees. Individuals will be stationed at various theaters or venues around Park City, Salt Lake City, and the Sundance Resort. Two team members per day per venue or theater will be assigned.
Working closely under the direction of the Health Safety Manager, the COVID Compliance Officers support Sundance Institutes commitment to mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
This temporary position works full time from Monday, January 16, 2023 through Monday, January 30, 2023, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, or Friday, January 27, 2023 and will be required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned. This position is based out of our Utah office location in order to work onsite throughout its employment. Multiple roles are available, and may be based in Park City or Salt Lake City during the Festival.
Top priorities include but are not limited to
• Distributing COVID tests to employees and volunteers as needed from an assigned venue or theater.
• Participating in meetings at the beginning of a shift to remind employees and volunteers to wear masks properly.
• Answering questions about COVID-19 from patrons, employees, and volunteers.
• Monitoring positive case counts within the assigned location.
• Assisting with testing administration.
• Asking patrons if they would like a mask or to please mask up.
• Writing a comprehensive wrap report and documenting key information.
• Other duties as assigned.
COVID Compliance Officers will go through training in how to talk to employees and volunteers about masking, and the Institutes COVID-19 Health Safety policy.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 1 year experience in working in employee health, safety, or public health programs, internal communications, employee advocacy, or related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
• Comfortability in working in sensitive situations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Comfort working in a fast- moving environment, while managing multiple moving pieces.
