Summary of Position
The Sr. Product Analyst will work on our core direct-to-consumer products (Roku, Prime Video, Android/Google TV, iOS/tvOS). With a passion for streaming content and a deep understanding of Product Development and Product Management, the Sr. Product Analyst will help drive informed business and product decisions for STARZ based in an analytical, data-backed approach.
Responsibilities
• Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with our core products
• Partner with internal teams (Content, Engineering and Direct Response/Marketing) to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities that grow the user base
• Research and lead launch of best-in-class subscriber acquisition flows, login flows, and user experience touchpoints
• Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our products
• Mine STARZ data across internal data mining tools and extract useful product insights
• Leverage A/B testing and multivariate testing disciplines to identify areas for enhancing the STARZ user experience
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 2-3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis and Product Development at a streaming service company, social media, retail or direct to consumer brand
• BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Product Management/Product Development, UX Strategy or other quantitative field. Advanced degrees preferred but not required
• Possess strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Taplytics and SQL
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner

• Possess a hypothesis-driven mentality, with a balance of being both creativity and analytical
• Ability to creativity to look at customer challenges in new ways and propose solutions that solve product limitations while growing the business.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and excitement about the role in a way that inspires the best in others
• Possess experience with subscription-based business(es) and are able to confidently engage in a conversation around acquisition, retention and churn.
• Possess proven record of successfully launching products or platforms to a large audience/customer base
• Ability to understand the tenets of good UX
• Experience working comfortably and confidently with engineers and developers
