Social Producer (Temporary Contractor)

Summary of Position

Location: Remote

Duration: Approximately 3 months with a target start date of ASAP

Rate: $2,500-$3,000/week depending on experience

A show reel or examples of your work must be included with your application in order to be considered for this role.

This temporary employee will be paid as a W-2 employee through a 3rd party payroll service. We are unable to consider candidates who can only be set-up as a W-9 Consultant.

The Creative Services team is seeking Social Producer to create and edit promotional and organic content for Starz social platforms, with a strong focus on late-night and talk-show campaigns. This role involves crafting videos, graphics, memes, gifs, and more, specifically designed to engage social media audiences. Strong video editing and design skills are required, along with a solid understanding of social media trends and experience in late-night and talk-show content. The ideal candidate can quickly and creatively turn late-night and talk show content into compelling social media assets, driving engagement and staying on-brand. Efficiency, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines are essential. Fans of the STARZ Power Universe and similar series is a plus.

Responsibilities
• Develop, edit, and produce high-quality, engaging social media content that aligns with current trends, marketing objectives, and brand voice

• Package and deliver content within Starz brand guidelines

• Expertly edit and design using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and companion applications

• Ideate high-level motion assets, including gif design, light animation, minimal compositing, expert-level video editing, and stereo audio mixing

• Stay ahead of social media trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to leverage trending topics and push creative boundaries

• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to brainstorm and develop content ideas for a variety of Starz original series

• Effectively communicate and work efficiently under tight deadlines, often turning around content within a day, incorporating feedback and revisions quickly

• Ensure all work is accurate and detail-oriented

• Exhibit disciplined project, sequence, and metadata management across all platforms

Qualifications and Skills
• Proven experience as a multimedia, cross-platform producer, capable of creating engaging content across social media channels like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube

• Prior experience producing social media content for talk shows or late-night programming

• Knowledge of social media trends, platform content creation tools, design, promo structure, and creative pacing

• Familiarity with the Starz Power franchise and similar shows

• Minimum 3 contiguous years of contemporary employment as a social media video editor

• Minimum 3 contiguous years of experience using Adobe Premiere and After Effects

• Prior Agency and/or Entertainment industry experience

• A portfolio of organic social content that showcases editorial and design experience across diverse clients and projects

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Ability to interpret and apply feedback and creative feedback with patience, collaboration, and speed

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
