Job Description
Summary of Position

Reporting to the VP, International Media, the Director of Paid Social will be responsible for leading paid social campaigns for brand and series marketing. The ideal candidate is combines entertainment category experience with paid social expertise and has hands-on experience in social ad auction platforms with some knowledge of working with publishers and/or influencers.

• Plan innovative paid social media programs for brand and series marketing across multiple territories while working with the rest of the international media team and the digital marketing team to ensure campaigns align with overall objectives.

• Brief, strategize with, and manage execution and reporting by the paid social agency of live campaigns across multiple territories

• Partner with publishers on best practices and testing new products features and analytics tools.

• Help optimize paid social campaigns across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit) including review of audience segments, retargeting, sequential messaging, reach and frequency, and creative asset testing.

• Regular collaboration with the digital marketing team to stay aligned and look for ways we can maximize paid plans and organic content. Willingness to brainstorm, experiment, and use inspiration, real world experience and data to support creative asset ideas and requests.

Responsibilities Cont.
• Recommend creative executions using new and best performing ad products.

• Work with the insights and analysis teams to measure and attribute campaign success with business KPIs.

• Prepare post-campaign analysis for and present to cross-functional teams and directors.

• Develop briefs for platform partners and manage RFP process.

• Ad hoc reporting.

• Process invoices and other administrative duties

• Quality control social ad units prior to publishing

• Assist at events and red carpets to capture social media content

Qualifications & Skills
• 7+ years of paid social advertising experience in an agency or brand.

• Television/entertainment industry and international experience preferred.

• Strong analytical skills, including a data-driven science approach to problem-solving and ability to synthesize complex data into digestible topline for an executive summary.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure that all campaigns follow brand and company standards.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and with some understanding of Facebook, Twitter and Snap Ads Manager.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a collaborative, team oriented environment

• Project management skills; ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus, while adhering to strict project timeline and budgets

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline preferred

• Aptitude in influencer content marketing

• Experience in RFP and negotiation process with partners
