Summary of Position
The Director of Product, Design & Delivery, Content Supply Chain is responsible for maintaining release plans and collaborating with cross functional partners in the planning, prioritization and implementation development initiatives. Facilitates the ongoing delivery of technology initiatives, high-impact business goals and process improvements. Collaborates with colleagues across the Product Delivery Lifecycle to ensure risks, dependencies, impediments and progress is tracked and communicated.
Responsibilities
• Facilitates the sequencing and delivery of the product backlog across all delivery teams according to business values, priorities and ROI.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners in the planning, prioritization and implementation of development initiatives.
• Works with Business Stakeholders and Product Owners to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
• Helps to manage risks and dependencies, escalate and track impediments, and identify and address critical bottlenecks.
• Provides input on team capacity and resource allocations for feature development.
• Ensures user stories, epics and features are organized into release plans that can be delivered with confidence while accomplishing business goals.
• Conveys the vision and goals at the beginning of every project, sprint and release.
• Communicates status to the broader organization by acting as a reliable voice of the team to stakeholders that are vested in the team's product delivery.
• Actively collaborates with team members and across STARZ for the achievement of business goals.
• Supports, champions and contributes to the product strategy and roadmap.
• Drives relentless improvement of Agile/SCRUM practices and processes.
• Provides leadership and contributes to the overall growth of the team.
• Creates and maintains the backlog of product priorities and ongoing initiatives that support business and technology goals by translating epics and features into user stories with well defined requirements, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
• Inspects and adapts the product backlog each sprint and adjusts course based on product and customer needs.
• Participates in requirements gathering and definition, based on product knowledge, UI/UX collaboration and end user interaction.
• Ensures that the products or features to be released meet product requirements and quality standards.
• Helps to facilitate daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Refinement meetings, Sprint Reviews, Demos and Retrospectives.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent training and experience. MBA preferred.
• 10+ years experience managing medium to large projects with both a business and a technology focus.
• 10+ years experience leading product delivery and release cycles.
• 10+ years experience with Agile software development environments, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience organizing work within Jira and related Atlassian tools.
• Ability to manage product delivery for more than one SCRUM team at a time.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to think beyond day-to-day activities and apply systems-level thinking.
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to address time sensitive demands on a continuous basis.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Creates an environment of mutual influence.
• Ability to establish a deep understanding of the product, project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member.
• Media and Entertainment experience preferred.

Compensation
$142,400 - $186,100
