Job Description
The Ringer seeks a Video Production Manager to join its podcast team. The ideal candidate is a driven professional who can contribute to The Ringer's video podcast production and implement the evolving strategy. The Video Production Manager will contribute to a wide range of projects, at times acting as producer and/or editor, as well as leading a small team. Projects will include digital series (10-15 minutes long), video podcasts (60-90 minutes long), live executions that air on linear TV and streaming platforms, and some remote shoots. This candidate will also have strong organizational skills to contribute to supervising the team's output. The person in this role must exercise strong multi-tasking skills and be able to lead multiple projects at various stages. Candidates must possess an excellent eye for storytelling, passion for sports and pop culture, familiarity with the Ringer's output, and strong video editing skills. This person is strategic and collaborative and eager to contribute to fast-paced environment.

What you'll do
• Lead all aspects of a slate of 2-3 projects at any given time from start to finish. This includes working directly with talent to define and create programming as well as driving all aspects of production
• Directly lead members of the video production team
• Track the video production team's weekly output and share information with counterparts across The Ringer
• Supervise, train, and manage reports by providing constructive performance coaching, mentorship, performance meetings, and on-going feedback
• Along with the other Ringer video production managers, establish, maintain and foster a structured environment for creative work
• Stay attuned to major moments within the worlds of the shows the candidate will oversee
• Create development opportunities and individualized development plans for staff and training to enhance skills and foster growth
• Create a collaborative environment with multiple internal departments to effectively manage and communicate to the right stakeholders
Who you are
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience in digital video production, including video podcasts, video content for platforms such as YouTube and Twitch
• Experience leading and training production staff
• Facility with Adobe Premiere and the entire Adobe suite
• Experience working directly with high profile talent and guests
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
• Ability to evaluate content with sound judgment
• A passion for and extensive understanding of The Ringer's content
• Strong knowledge of sports and pop culture
Where you'll be
• This is a Los Angeles based role
• The right candidate will be willing to come into the studio multiple times per week

The United States base range for this position is $82,125- 117,371 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
