Job Description
Who are we hiring?
The Analyst supports the Quality Control (QC) team within the broader mission of venue business optimization and support, delivering reporting, analysis, and business support, as well as technology-driven automation solutions that enable Sphere venue operations departments to operate more efficiently. This role works closely with the Manager, Director, and Senior Director to maintain dashboards, perform data-driven analysis, and contribute to digital process improvement initiatives. The Analyst provides timely, accurate information to support strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and data-driven performance optimization, better meeting business needs across the organization.
What will you do?
• Create tools, dashboards, and analytical products that enable venue department leaders to make timely decisions based on accurate, accessible data.
• Perform regular data analysis to identify trends operational trends, risks, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Assist with KPI tracking, staffing projections, and event preparation tools.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement projects to reduce manual workload and increase reporting accuracy.
• Design and develop web-based and/or app-based tools and workflows that improve department efficiencies, streamline communication, and eliminate redundant manual tasks.
• Maintain and update automation tool code to ensure alignment with evolving business processes and operational changes.
• Document analytical processes and maintain reporting tools to ensure consistency and knowledge continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits, financial tracking, and performance reviews.
• Automate recurring reports and manual operational tasks to increase speed, accuracy, and data availability across stakeholders.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis and insights as requested by QC leadership or operational stakeholders.
What do you need to s/ucceed?
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or operations support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with building browser-based or application-based workflow tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Special Requirements
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Willing to work hours outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends, as required to meet company objectives.
Pay Range
$65,000 - $85,000 USD
