Senior Manager, Analyst Services

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Analyst Services will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4+ business analysts. This will include coordination with project leads to understand priorities and plan strategy, providing direction to analysts on their daily responsibilities, ensuring they have the necessary guidance and motivation to accomplish their tasks, and producing a bi-annual review of their performance.

In addition to personnel management, the holder of this position will be directly responsible for the coordination of the AMP and AMINO projects which are focused on the transition of AOMA to an AWS environment. This includes organizing activities within the respective teams as well as coordination with the external groups to ensure project success. Lastly, this role will be expected to initiate and coordinate strategic initiatives which will identify areas of need across the organization and how to improve these processes.

What you'll do:
• Manage team of business analysts, responsible for a variety of projects
• Onboarding, training, and coaching new hires
• Coordinate with project leads on BA short-term responsibilities and long-term goals
• Provide guidance and leadership to ensure direct reports have the tools and direction needed to perform at their best
• AWS migration project
• Partner with Product Owners and agile development teams to develop and implement a long-term roadmap for migration to AWS architecture
• Translate product plan into well-defined product requirements/user stories and user acceptance testing criteria
• Coordinate development activities/dependencies across the internal team and associated dev teams
• Produce and maintain high-level documents for senior management review
• Strategic initiatives
• Propose high-level strategic plans to optimize existing process
• Identify areas to replace current practices to make them more efficient

Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree required, technology major preferred
• 10+ years of work experience -- prior experience in music/media industries preferred
• 1+ years professional experience managing 3 or more analysts across multiple projects or teams.
• Experience using Agile methodology (writing user stories, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc.)
• Experience with cloud technology- experience migrating applications to cloud environment preferred
• Experience with test planning and writing use cases
• Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proven planning and organizational skills
