The accounts receivable analyst position is responsible for applying customer payments, overseeing bank transactions, and preparing and uploading cash posting into SAP, and researching unidentified payments. The job includes supporting other accounts receivable personnel and functions.

This role will be primarily remote but will require you to come into our NYC office on occasion for meetings, etc.

What you'll do:
• Ensure all cash, journal entries, and adjustments are applied accurately using SAP Autobank technology for US and Canada.
• Oversee daily and monthly activities (balancing and cash application).
• Reconcile bank accounts; research and resolve bank errors.
• Ensure daily bank and invoice feeds are processed and balanced; resolve issues as needed.
• Responsible for the mapping and maintenance of customer remittance feeds for Autobank.
• Research unidentified payments and maintain pre-pay cash account reconciliation.
• Research/process customer refunds.
• Point person for GDB digital cash postings in coordination with GDB finance team.
• Review of all daily bank receipts to search, confirm and apply possible payments which have been misdirected to an incorrect bank account.
• Primary contact for sync licensing historical collection cash receipt research which requires advanced search techniques across several bank accounts and SAP GL.
• Application / reconciliation of monthly intercompany netting entry.
• Ongoing maintenance and enhancement of AR Autobank processes including testing of upgrades.
• Special projects as needed.

Who you are:
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Highly proficient in Excel and Pivot Tables, along with SAP AR and Autobank experience.
• Disciplined self-starter with can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, collaborative team player; detail oriented with strong follow-through skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Solid research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Tenacity is essential; must be hard-wired to find the answer.

• The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
