The Global Finance Shared Service Center supports the core business with finance related matters, covering a wide scope of activities across the globe. We ensure suppliers and artists are paid on time for the amazing work they create. We work closely with the local finance teams around the world which means we have an excellent understanding of how the company operates and are kept up to date with key developments in this exciting and fast paced industry. Our teams play a key role in ensuring Sony Music achieve their annual goals each year
We are now expanding our Global Record to Report (RTR) team in Poland and are looking for talented finance professionals to join us at either Analyst or Senior Analyst level, depending on experience.
As a key member of the Global RTR team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and complete financial accounting activities for Sony Music entities across the region. You will collaborate with local finance teams, outsourced service providers, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, as well as maintaining high‑quality financial data in SAP and BPC.
The Senior Analyst level includes additional ownership, review responsibilities, and guidance of Analysts.
What you'll do:
GENERAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
• Prepare key balance sheet reconciliations under US & Local GAAP (Analyst)
• Complete quarter-end schedules for group reporting (Analyst)
• Reconcile SAP month-end trial balance to BPC submissions (Both)
• Own or oversee prepayment, fixed asset, accrual, and subledger reconciliations (Analyst)
• Ensure completeness of foreign currency revaluation and prepare FX exposure reports (Analyst)
• Build SAP master data (profit center, cost center, assignments) (Analyst)
• Complete BPC schedules at quarter end (Analyst)
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP system changes (Both)
• Confirm master data and prepare global recurring monthly entries (Senior Analyst)
• Oversee recurring entries prepared by outsourced providers (Senior Analyst)
• Perform year-end close in SAP across multiple entities (Senior Analyst)
• Review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy under US & Local GAAP (Senior Analyst)
• Ensure BPC reporting accuracy and propose corrections (Senior Analyst)
• Provide day-to-day operational guidance and support to Analysts (Senior Analyst)
TREASURY
• Load and reconcile bank statements weekly and resolve open items (Analyst)
• Review and approve entries for treasury loan movements, netting, interest, royalties, and service fees (Analyst)
• Purchase or sell foreign currency as requested (Analyst)
• Review loan reconciliations and collaborate with Analysts on adjustments (Senior Analyst)
• Assist with approvals for FX transactions and loan movements (Senior Analyst)
INTERCOMPANY
• Manage intracompany matching processes and resolve variances (Analyst)
• Review intracompany balance sheet and P&L matrices and follow up on variances (Analyst)
• Complete global reconciliations ensuring correct eliminations (Analyst)
• Review intracompany P&L and balance sheet accounts on a global basis (Senior Analyst)
SYSTEMS & MASTER DATA
• Build SAP master data as required (Analyst)
• Act as SAP master data super-user and maintain SAP–BPC mapping (Senior Analyst)
• Serve as SAP–BPC super-user and back-up for monthly loads (Senior Analyst)
• Own year-end allocation bookings (Senior Analyst)
AD-HOC ACTIVITIES
• Perform additional general accounting tasks as required (Both)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with global finance teams (Both)
Who you are:

Experience & Qualifications:
• Analyst: Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience
• Senior Analyst: Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in a multinational company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• SAP experience required

Skills & Competencies:
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Proactive, flexible working style with a growth mindset
• Polish and English proficiency required
