Job Description
The Licensing Manager is the liaison between the client, design, and production. They handle the execution of licensing agreements from concept to physical product. This incorporates managing the design calendar, knowledge in trend analysis, technical execution of the different product categories, approval process with the client, and legal clearance.

This role is a key team member helping to execute licensing strategies for some of the world's most successful music artists. They are also encouraged to secure new licensing agreements to drive incremental sales.

The Licensing Manager will report to the SR VP of Business Development and Retail and work closely with the central commercial teams to ensure impactful results and exceptional client service.

What you'll do:
• Client service.
• Product Approvals
• Create compelling sales tools and collaborate on retail product lines.
• Product submission and license agreement tracking.
• Manage and meet financial targets.
• Business development – open new licensing accounts and expand product lines.

Who you are:
• 6+ years of experience in and a deep understanding of the licensing business for apparel and non-apparel.
• Have long-standing relationships with major licensees in the apparel and non-apparel sectors.
• Detail oriented and a self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Entrepreneurial.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

New York Pay Range

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
