Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Creatives Services, as a Graphic Designer on the Nashville Creative Team, you will serve as lead graphic designer for creation of physical, digital, video and web based artwork for digital, marketing, advertising, promotion and album packaging related to recorded product. This individual will work in conjunction with Creative Directors in development of overall artist imaging through application of graphic art and design principles, assist in managing daily execution of all creative ''job order'' designs and ensure consistent visual elements are delivered from initial concept to completed product in a timely manner.

What you'll do:
• Design all collateral material ranging from digital/social platform graphics, marketing materials and packaging, coordinating with all departments on design of all materials, whether digital, print or web-based graphics
• Assist in concept and design of any/all graphic shapes, elements and typography for packaging and promotional material for recorded product, including the final assembly for layout of photography, illustration and copy for final packaging of recorded product
• Facilitate job work orders and maintain flow of production within Creative Department
• Make recommendations and decisions for improving workflow and planning timeline process
• Recommend cost reductions/savings and efficiencies for assigned areas of work
• Assist with budget management and cost control
• Coordinate with Release Planning & Production department on any transactions with print vendors, freelance designers, and/or display companies by requesting and/or providing necessary artwork, logos and copy for packaging or marketing and promotional materials for recorded product
• Research design trends within digital interface & physical print applications
• Research artist's music and brand in order to create appropriate visuals
• Manage selection and workflow of design interns

Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree or art school degree (graphic design-related field) preferred / BFA preferred
• Computer design experience with a demonstrated keen eye for color, layout, shape, form, and detail
• Printing or print vendor experience with demonstrated knowledge of engraving, printing, and manufacturing process; fluency with core graphic design principles (layout, typography, form, color composition, imagery, etc.)
• Digital web, motion and video based design experience with working knowledge of social media & web design needs utilizing core graphic design principles (layout, typography, form, color composition, imagery, etc.)
• Working knowledge of all Macintosh-based Adobe CS design cloud software required (Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design); knowledge of PC-based data programs and filing systems for archiving; ability to learn new software packages and applications as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• High level multi-tasking skills & the ability to problem solve and work on multiple projects at a time
• Experience in a role that required the following: meeting deadlines, accomplishing work in order of priority, and maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
• Proven ability to multi-task and maintain flexibility in the creative process
• Knowledge of commercial design and demonstrated use of meticulous detail when applying execution to design concepts
• Proven ability to exhibit a professional manner and maintain constructive working relationships with others, including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
• Ability to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job
