The Merch Collective is a boutique music merchandising company representing top Artists in touring, eCommerce, and retail channels has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager.

As a Finance Manager at The Merch Collective, you will leverage your analytical and organizational skills to support the greater Finance department. An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry and how finance operates within it, specifically as it pertains to merchandise.

What you'll do:
• Assist Finance Director in accounting all revenue streams, cash balances, and other monetary movements
• Daily banking and QuickBooks reconciliation
• Credit Card Reconciliation
• Manage multiple accounts Payable and Receivable
• Prepare and process monthly Sales Tax reconciliations
• Monitor and compute revenue channels (Touring, Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, Retail, etc)
• Oversee fixed assets and depreciation analysis related to ever-changing inventory levels
• Adhere to and stay abreast of recent developments to relevant accounting and tax standards
• Manage debtor/creditor ledgers and ensure the accuracy of transaction reporting
• Uncover and drive process improvement opportunities across the Finance team.
• Adhere to company principals and ethical standards of excellence
• Inventory Reconciliation and oversight
• Intercompany Reconciliations

Who you are:
• 7+ years experience in Finance
• Preferably 3+ years experience within music merchandising industry
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically in Excel, macros, and data analysis
• Extensive financial statement modeling experience
• Experience of working with finance systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, Oracle EBS)
• Ability to problem-solve, both autonomously and within teams
• High integrity and natural desire to assume responsibility
