The Creative Lead at Arista will work directly on ideation, creation and execution of artwork and graphic design across our artist roster. The Creative Lead will ensure that graphic design across our artist campaigns becomes a visual extension of the artist's vision. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of design software and be skilled in every step of the design process from concept to final delivery.

What you'll do:
• You will work on a wide range of products including artwork design, physical album packaging, publicity photoshoots, social graphic design, print ads and more.
• You should have an excellent sense of visual style, art direction and storytelling
• You must be able to articulate, visualize, and sell creative through pitch decks, moodboards and art direction both internally to our team and externally to artists and managers
• Manage the design and delivery of creative assets including single art, album packaging, publicity photos and more
• Be able to create and manage budgets for creative projects from top to bottom
• Process all invoices and vendor set ups and develop keen understanding of Sony systems and supporting personnel to meet production deadlines
• Maintain, own, and update the project creative schedules for on-time asset delivery in accordance with release schedules and marketing plans
• Coordinate and maintain all agreements related to creative projects, working with legal when necessary
• Update art and photography assets in our internal system
• Develop and continually expand your vast rolodex of outside designers, photographers, stylists, and content creators

Who you are:
• You have at least 4+ years of relevant experience at an agency, label, media or marketing company or culturally similar environment with a proven track record in graphic design and visual presentation.
• You are an excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who can work with a range of personalities and partners.
• You have a wealth of knowledge specifically in the Pop, Alternative, Rock and Hip-Hop spaces
• You have a deep understanding of the various digital formats and how people are consuming content through all social channels including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, Apple Music, Twitter and Snapchat.
• You are excellent at understanding and articulating creative concepts and have the ability to autonomously own projects from start to finish.
• Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and more
• Fan of and strong knowledge of music, trends, fashion, and design
• Ability to collaborate with key internal team members, including marketing, legal, finance, and production teams
• Excellent organizational skills
• Photography skills are a plus
• Portfolio or work examples required

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

$70,000 - $80,000 USD
