Coordinator, Social, Partnerships & Media

Job Description

This role will provide marketing and administrative support to the Social, Partnership and Media team of Sony Music's Catalog Marketing Team. The Coordinator will help to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and be instrumental in the evolution of the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, technology and media.

What you'll do:
• Schedule and post on artist and label channels, engaging with fans when appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies and artist teams on social, partnership and media needs for individual campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with and communicate with colleagues on emerging technologies as well as key changes in social and digital platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness and best-in-class marketing.
• Participate in brainstorming of creative content and partner ideas while facilitating relationships that assist in bringing ideas to market.
• Create campaign updates, summaries and reports and distribute to internal and external stakeholders.
• Set-up conference calls, coordinate meetings and distribute digital audio/video asset and physical products to partners.
• Process invoices, generate POs and work with Finance to ensure timely payment of all invoices.

Who you are:
• 1 -2 years relevant experience
• Proficient with and passion for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok)
• Be aware of and have an affinity for emerging social, digital and media platforms
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask, prioritize and focus while working on short timelines and demanding situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe creative suite
• Excellent command of language with strong written, telephone and interpersonal skills
