Job Description
As an Associate Director in the Tour Marketing team, you will have your finger on the pulse of all promotional and live opportunities across the label's roster. Tour Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting and travel for artist's tours, promotional events, and live performances for assigned Epic Records artists.

What you'll do:
• Liaise between Managers, Tour Managers, and various Sony Music departments (Marketing, Digital Media, Publicity, Video and Radio Promotion, Commerce, and International Marketing) to identify and organize promotional opportunities for assigned artists.
• Create, maintain, and distribute accurate daily itineraries for assigned artists which include travel details and all elements for promotional/live events.
• Work closely with Finance and Marketing to create or obtain budgets for all tours and promotional events for assigned artists and ensure that budgets adhere to policy/caps.
• Manage, and when necessary, book artist travel for promotional events, including flights, trains, cars, and hotels.
• Create and manage company ticket solicitations for US touring activity across Epic artist roster. Work with Finance and Marketing to approve and finalize label ticket buys.
• Attend live events, showcases and festivals and ensure that all issues related to executive/staff entry, venue/artist credentials, VIP section, tickets/admittance and parking are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• Actively network with stakeholders in the touring and live events industries.
• Manage and process invoices for costs associated with touring and promotional events in line with approved budgets (tickets, transportation, backline/PA rental, security, staging, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
• Review backup/invoices submitted by artist business management to ensure costs are within budget and compliant with Epic caps.
• Supervise the production and execution of Epic artist showcases, listening sessions and company events nationally including engaging venues and external vendors.
• Develop tour and lifestyle marketing strategies and work closely with Sony's college marketing department/street team to ensure artist exposure in the marketplace.

Who you are:
• 5+ years of music industry experience, with some prior budget responsibility.
• Prior knowledge of the live/touring environment is preferred.
• A proactive, organized, self-starter who has strong problem solving, social, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication, time management skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Must be able to work independently but be a team player and flexible. Must be able to adapt to all situations and handle stress. Must be able to create and maintain good relationships with artists, managers, attorneys, etc. Multitasking and organizational skills a must.
• Must be available to attend local shows, events, and concerts as well as occasional travel to out of home market events, festivals, tour dates.
• An intimate knowledge of all label departments is also required.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
