Come Grow With Us! We are looking for a Sr. Manager Operations and Transmission to join the team!

What You'll Do:
• Operations, Collaboration & Partnerships – Proactively communicate across all levels and departments within the RSN Media Operations Center to strategize and deliver operations, technology and monitoring initiatives aligned with business initiatives
• Set, manage, and report on the long- and short-range planning of projects for RSN Media Operations Center departments such as TOC / transmission support, digital operations center, distribution, On-Air operations, Ingest, etc.
• Supervise operations and support of TOC Video/ transmission network and associated fly packs necessary to broadcast live events for RSN Media Operations Center
• Supervise teams responsible for digital operations center, TOC video network support, fly packs etc.
• Work in conjunction with other internal broadcast operations groups and manage broadcast service provider for day to day operations
• Performance Improvement – Constantly evaluate technology in use and available in the market; identify new technology opportunities and creative ways to improve technology use and monitoring
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities to unlock new possibilities through adoption of new technologies, automation, and digitalization
• People Management & Development – Thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in the face of ambiguity

What To Bring:
• 10+ years of relevant broadcast industry work experience
• Previous manager experience in various areas of live sports centralized broadcasting
• Must be knowledgeable in all areas of transmission, production, and operational aspects of live events broadcasting
• Must have working understanding of video networks related broadcast and transmission systems
• Experience with writing PO's, operational and capital budget
• Experience with live sports integration required
• Participation in industry organizations e.g. SMPTE, SVG etc.
• Outstanding interpersonal/management skills are required
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Travel as needed
