The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join Sinclair Broadcast Group's Innovation & Strategy Team. At Sinclair Broadcast Group, our mission is to connect people with content everywhere – and a core part of this mission involves deepening our competitive edge. You will play a key role in managing initiatives that create new revenue opportunities from ideation through maturation.

Who You Are

You are an organized thinker and problem solver with outstanding project management skills and a consultant mindset. You have a track record of being a self-starter and ability to drive projects from beginning to end. You love to be collaborative and influence others around you to come together towards a common goal. This position is a hybrid role based out of Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities:
• Manage initiatives, including project communications, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, creating project artifacts (e.g., project schedules, presentation decks, tracking logs, reporting, etc., and ensuring timely completion of project tasks and milestones.
• Manage and mitigate project risk.
• Lead multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity.
• Work with relevant departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and critical aspects of their projects.
• Stay informed of and communicate initiative status and goals.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• 7+ years' work experience in project management
• Strategic mindset and the ability to see and act within the bigger picture while connecting dots and finding opportunities for collaboration.
• Exceptional attention to detail, deadlines, guidelines, and objectives
• Ability to communicate and collaborate proactively and effectively with peers, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Excellent presentation verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Hand-on experience with Microsoft Project and/or other project tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Instinctive qualities of accountability and follow-through
• Desire for continuous learning and improvement
• Strong record of planning, organizing, tracking, reporting, and presenting
• Project Management Professional certification preferred.
• Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies helpful

The base salary compensation range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
