Job Description
The team is seeking an Infrastructure Product Owner that will be a member of an agile team, primarily responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing backlog of user stories based on value for customer. They play a critical role in Product Management by converting roadmap initiatives into backlog items, and prioritizing the backlog based on business and customer needs. As a representative of the infrastructure team, they will navigate increasingly complex IT and Business environments with cross-team or external dependencies, including people, process and technology, and stakeholder interest for a more complex product or capability. They will maximize business value within a product or capability, ensuring the team focuses on a mix of net new development, improvement, support, and innovation.

Required Experience & Skills  
• Bachelor/master's degree in information management, Business or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• 5+ years of product / project management experience with infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated leadership in an agile team
• Strong communications, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with multiple teams, and both technical and non-technical audiences
• Program owner for reliability and operational excellence, driving the product roadmap for high-leverage platform initiatives
• Foster an open and collaborative environment
• Engage with multiple clients/business units/internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into user stories and features
• Supervise the product development backlog by making sure that it is up to date in terms of priorities and aligned with the vision of the product and the needs of the organization
• Define and maintain product roadmaps and product integration strategy balancing internal requirements with client requests/priorities
• Lead grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories
• Collaborate with system architect and scrum master to scope each sprint, track progress, and work through hurdles to deliver a great product on time, within scope, focusing on optimization and automation
• Provide consistent communication back to clients and stake holders on progress and product delivery timelines as well as conduct feature roadmap overviews periodically
• Must have strong analytical thinking/problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working on concurrent initiatives.
• Experience with ADO is a strong plus.
• Experience with network and networking projects is a plus.

Responsibilities
• Own and lead the team's backlog(s)
• Participate actively in planning activities
• Lead the infrastructure team through all activities to support Sprint activities
• Be a key partner in product related decisions and planning
• Have an in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the initiatives and features
• You will work to drive value as a function of cost, time, functionality and quality
• You will work with the technical leads to evaluate the product Roadmap to identify features for development and identify ''definition of done'' for each feature
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a product backlog, short and long-term product roadmaps with milestones and key metrics.
• Foster stakeholder relationships, work with the development and infrastructure teams, to develop consistent release schedule and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Serve as a mentor in building Agile disciplines and reinforcing roles.
• Build, manage and refine product backlogs through prioritization and negotiation with key stakeholders and by understanding the technical feasibility and economic considerations towards delivering business value continuously.
• Validate that the recommended solution aligns with business goals and objectives working closely with Architecture, Security and Systems.
• Evaluate the impact and risk related to requested changes.
• Communicate with stakeholders on a regular basis and keep status in project/enhancement tracking systems up to date.
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and provide timely responses to customers who submit enhancement requests.
• Communicate clear and concise product priorities and project status in meetings, reports, dashboards, and on-demand stakeholder engagements.
• Show initiative to stay abreast of new technology and share information that will be beneficial to my peers.
