Job Description
Sinclair Broadcast Group is looking for a Producer, Podcasts to help develop, produce, and grow a slate of new and ongoing podcasts.

Candidates must have experience in the podcast, radio, or TV space (or similar). Basic knowledge of audio production, including recording and editing equipment and software, is a requirement. Video editing experience a plus.

The role requires someone with a deep passion for audio content development across a variety of formats. You should be excited to take on challenges, and jump in at any level of the production process. Collaborating with talent, editors, senior leadership, and key stakeholders, will be a key component of the role.

What You'll Do:
• Lead the day-to-day production for a variety of podcasts, supporting in all aspects of show development, editing, publishing, and promotion
• Assemble all episode files to edit a variety of daily or weekly series
• Brainstorm ideas for show content, formats, segments, interview topics/questions
• Assist in recording episodes, both in person and remotely, providing best practices
• Work directly with talent and guests, coaching them on best practices, maximizing their skillsets
• Run point on the production and development of show launches, work in collaboration with internal teams to ensure launches runs smoothly
• QC show programming before publishing to ensure quality standards are high
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute an effective promotional strategy across a variety of mediums, including social media
• Keep up with news and trends to understand how to develop programming based on what audiences are looking for
• Track show analytics and audience trends to help shape future decisions
• Liaise with senior leadership to provide show updates, feedback, and growth plans
• Assist in the development of long-term content strategies
• Assist in production of some of Sinclair's high-profile long form series, as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:
• 3+ years of audio production experience in radio, podcasts, or similar
• Highly skilled with audio recording and editing software (i.e. Adobe Audition), and recording equipment
• Proven record of content development across a variety of programming
• Highly collaborative and a team player, able to both give and take direction/feedback on various projects
• Ability to work efficiently against a deadline, ensuring projects are moving along on time without sacrificing quality
• Strong understanding of growth strategies of multi-channel content and how podcasts can be distributed across a variety of mediums
• Knowledge of podcast hosting platforms (i.e. Megaphone)
• Extremely well organized, able to manage projects at various stages simultaneously
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights and/or weekends, as projects call for

The base salary compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
