Paralegal Manager, Music

Job Description

The Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) are seeking a Paralegal Manager of Music! The Paralegal Manager manages the legal affairs, track agreements and clearance documents and invoicing for the Music department, in all aspects of music clearance and licensing for RSN's, Tennis Channel and Stadium Sports, PRO Reporting.

Essential Functions include:
• Drafts and reviews clearance documents
• Drafts and reviews licensing documents
• Tracks invoices and payments
• Interfaces with Legal executives

Qualifications and Experience:

Paralegal and/or 3-5 years music licensing experience, with strong knowledge of Rights and Clearances

Experience in television industry and music licensing required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have well-developed interpersonal skills

General math skills needed for licensing

Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook

Must be extremely organized, demonstrate initiative and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent time management skills

Must be able to recommend and implement process improvements

Must be a team player and a self-starter
