Inventory Specialist - National Networks & Platforms

Sinclair Broadcast Group has a great opportunity for you! We have an open position in our, National Networks/Platforms hub for an Inventory Specialist. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing commercial advertisement inventory through a variation of log editing and preempting, communicating inventory oversell and availability, as well as working closely with sales managers daily to maximize inventory and revenue potential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Verify commercial logs for accurate programming information, commercial content, product separation, advertiser separation, and extensive editing for on-air broadcast
• Lead and effectively manage all advertising material to maximize inventory and revenue potential
• Help as needed for all processes related to programming, generating sales reports, and working advanced inventory within established time parameters
• Communicate inventory availability or programming conflicts to sales daily
• Effectively work with other team members and managers in a professional manner
• Aid as needed for all processes as it relates to sales order entry, advertiser copy instructions, commercial spot processing, reports for sales and other groups within established time parameters
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in network traffic or similar field is highly preferred
• Must be computer literate with experience with OSi or Wide Orbit or similar traffic systems is preferred
• Proficient with Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, as well as effectively work with other team members, managers and outside vendors in a professional manner
• Analytical and strategy driven mind set
• Must be detail-oriented, dedicated, dependable and able to meet strict tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail
• Must be proactive and efficient with time management
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and customer service skills
