Enterprise Risk Manager

Job Description

Sinclair Broadcast Group is looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Sinclair's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team that is part of the Corporate Compliance Department. We are looking for someone with a positive and dynamic personality to play a crucial role on the team. This position will offer you the ability to design, develop, evaluate, and recommend various risk management strategies, plans and programs. You will work with the ERM team to evaluate the company's processes for identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks, as well as communicating risk management challenges and management's strategy for correcting them.

Responsibilities:
• Help Design, develop, evaluate, and recommend various risk management strategies, plans, and programs; suggests changes as needed and coordinates implementation.
• Develop and lead large team effort, determine project scope, create timelines, measure project success through data and coordination with stakeholders
• Assist in presentation of Risk Assessment results to executive leadership and board.
• Make recommendations to stakeholders and functional business unit leaders based on risk analysis results
• Provide clear justification and data for new requests to cross-functional teams
• Identify key emerging risks with our processes, assess their potential impact and build out action plans to mitigate them
• Provide training and policy updates to functional business unit leaders as needed
• Capture and monitor essential metrics in regard to workflow/mitigation efforts

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Law preferred.
• Three to five years of Risk Management (ERM experience preferred)
• Risk Management credentials, such as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or certificate program in Risk Management are preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to deliver clear and succinct interpretations of risks/data to all relevant teams
• Self-starter, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, every changing environment
• Ability to quickly identify patterns and trends across seemingly unrelated content
• Must be organized, positive, proactive, and results-oriented
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
