Want to innovate, lead, and grow in digital marketing? Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to extract data, create reports, and provide sound business recommendations to company leaders for Sinclair's email marketing and digital businesses. This person will help build and collaborate data reports and audience segmentations for email-related digital marketing across the company and its diverse brand portfolio – including News, Entertainment and Sports.

The Customer Data Analyst works with a diverse group of digital leaders across Sinclair to collect and analyze data using Salesforce platforms, plus other digital analytical tools. The Customer Data Analyst will structure large data sets to find usable information and create visualizations for different personas and audiences that lead to activation, execution and revenue opportunities.

The Customer Data Analyst will support provisioning a customer database of first-party data using Sinclair's emerging Customer Data Platform (CDP). Additionally, this User Data Analyst will analyze and interpret this data to determine patterns, optimizations, correlations, revenue opportunities, campaign performance and more for Sinclair's 76 local TV news stations, its streaming products, The Tennis Channel, The National Desk, 21 Bally's Regional Sports Networks and other company divisions.

This position can be remote (anywhere in the lower 48) and some travel is needed within the United States.

The Analyst position requires strong organization skills, highly effective communication abilities, and a deep knowledge of email marketing and newsletters. Ideal candidates will understand the intersection of sales, marketing, and effective technical delivery, plus a background in digital marketing's role with first-party data, leads generation and subscriptions.

The Analyst must be comfortable with fast-moving change and execution with an ability to work across a growing, evolving, matrixed organization.

Experience using Salesforce is essential, along with a proven track record of data work that led to results.

Essential Duties and Requirements
• Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a background in other Salesforce tools
• Analyze and interpret sales and customer data in order to create audience segmentations for product enablement
• Assist with developing visualizations, reports and presentations on analytical findings based on requests from company stakeholders
• Identify opportunities independently through data research and analysis
• Conduct reviews on Product Performance (sourcing data from Auditor QC) and Product Purchasing Patterns (sourcing data from the monthly Sales Report) to determine patterns, correlations, and causations of customer purchasing changes (wasn't sure about this and assuming candidates will understand this?)
• Assist with market research projects across the company
• Review Customer Complaint data and generate reports as needed (also wasn't sure about this one)
• Ru n additional requested reports as needed
• Adhere to work procedures, processes that support company and the departments standards
• Some travel as needed within the US
• This position can be remote, anywhere in the lower 48

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary compensation range for this role is $50,000 to $100,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for Colorado-based hires only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
