Applications Engineer

Job Description

Dielectric has an immediate opening for an Applications Engineer. As our Applications Engineer you will provide the bridge between internal and external customers with all RF projects, including technical specifications and proposal documents for RF systems and components. Every day you will have the opportunity to engage with the brightest people in the industry to provide our customers with the mechanical and electrical specifications for RF systems. To thrive in this role, you must be able to develop and maintain the software needed to organize and maintain the proposals.

As a member of our Engineering team you will be expected to collaborate with the sales and customer service team to identify the customer needs and participate in order review meetings. The ability to calculate the relevant systems parameters such as total insertion loss and isolation is key to this role, as well as the ability to package and prepare technical proposals. The successful candidate will be able to mine data from multiple historic systems to generate Customer Information Sheets.

Requirements:
• Education: BS or equivalent in Engineering
• Experience: 2+ years RF/Antenna experience preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Detailed oriented with the ability to communicate technical information to internal and external customers to determine needs and propose solutions.
• Technical Requirements: Adaptable to new computer and software technologies, Oracle experience a plus.
• Travel: Some travel required to support customer needs.
