Junior Financial Accountant (6 Month FTC)

Job Profile:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Junior Financial Accountant is as an integral part of the S&S UK Finance team, supporting Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with completion of monthly financial reporting and has responsibility for ongoing balance sheet reconciliation.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring completeness, efficiency and accuracy of financial records for relevant areas of the P&L and balance sheet. Therefore, you will be the key contact for the Financial Controller, Financial Accountant and immediate Finance team for relevant accounting areas. You will assist the Financial Accountant, Financial Controller and Finance team with review, design and implementation of improvements of processes and implementation of controls.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with an understanding of finance application in industry. You will have exceptional organisational and communication skills together with solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics Navision accounting software or other similar accounting packages, including purchases and sales ledgers and cashbooks (desired but not essential) and in IBM's TM1 (desired but not essential).

You will be a proactive team player, self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills as well as have good analytical skills and the ability to use judgement.
