The Role
This multi-faceted role will manage digital-first campaigns and execute our social media and digital strategy, helping to boost our digital capabilities as we set new growth targets, develop brands and communities and maximise current publishing.
The Digital Marketing Manager/Senior Digital Marketing Manager, will work closely with the Marketing & PR Director and wider Marketing & PR team to grow our online communities and ensure our investment and resource is going into the channels and interactions that will yield optimal results and sales for our books.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute the digital strategy with M&P Director and team
• Plan and deliver digital campaign activity for our titles
• Lead on digital content creation, including video and audio
• Social Media Management – manage content and audience engagement, creating full content plans, dynamic backlist/frontlist promos
• Build new brand partnerships and optimise relationships with bloggers and influencers, and online communities
• Work with Sales team and lead on Amazon Marketing – overseeing A+ content, driving Amazon Advertising, reviewing metadata and coding, promotion of ebook and audio formats and promotions
• Collaborate with global S&S digital marketers to ensure we implement a global digital strategy for shared authors
• Work with editorial team to identify and quantify opportunities for digital-first talent
Skill & Attributes
• Is up to date with the latest thinking, trends and opportunities in the digital landscape
• Be a voice for digital-first thinking in the children's division, including identifying opportunities for talent acquisition
• Ability to write optimised copy for online and product pages
• Enthusiastic and proactive
• Good team player and communicator
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
Experience
• Experience of implementing digital marketing strategy
• Experience of digital campaign management
• Experience of creating digital content to further brand campaigns and awareness building activity
• Social Media Management experience, planning, writing, posting
• Experience of building and establishing a network of content creators
• Full experience of META, social media and Google advertising platforms
• Experience of the Amazon advantage and advertising platforms
Previously worked in a digital-first environment, with at least 5 years experience.
Qualifications and Knowledge
Desirable:
• Experience of working with international partners.
• Experience of working with Senior Leadership teams.
• Experience of working with talent.

Starting salary from £35,000, however this may increase depending on which role your skills and attributes best suit
