JOB PROFILE

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be supporting the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that help market our book and drive traffic to our website and social media channels. You will work closely with design team to create and execute engaging campaigns across various digital channels, including email marketing, social media, and content marketing. Your goal will be to increase brand awareness, and generate leads and sales.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and growing publishing house with an impressive list of authors and illustrators across its Adult and Children's imprints, in a key role within the publishing process.

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a talented individual with Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, PPC advertising, SEO, and content marketing, experienced in creating and executing digital marketing strategies for books or related industries. You'll be responsible for creating and scheduling engaging content on social media platforms, as well as monitoring and engaging with followers.

You will be proficient at managing digital advertising campaigns and analysing data to measure success, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong collaboration and project management skills.

The right candidate will have:
• Knowledge of website editing and programming, as well as content management systems (CMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong collaboration and project management skills
• Strong analytical skills to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience in collaborating with brands and influencers
• Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
• A passion for books and the publishing industry, as well as creativity and innovation to come up with new and engaging marketing strategies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with authors, media, influencers, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges as they arise
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust strategies as needed and stay up-to-date with changing trends and technologies
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Organize blog tours with bookstagrammers, oversee influencer marketing campaigns, and manage point-of-sale materials for different books.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
• At least three years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on book or related industries
• Experience in creating and executing digital marketing strategies for books, including social media, email marketing, PPC advertising, SEO, and content marketing
• Mid-level positions with responsibility for managing and executing digital marketing strategies, overseeing social media accounts, and managing digital advertising campaigns
• Roles with responsibility for collaborating with authors, media, influencers, and other stakeholders, as well as managing budgets and allocating resources effectively
• Positions with a focus on driving growth and revenue for books or related products or services, while maintaining a strong brand identity and engagement with customers.
