This Designer will design approximately 30 unique books per year in multiple formats, including novelty and board books, early readers, chapter books, and picture books. In addition, the Designer collaborates with editors, licensors, and other designers on projects, conceptualizes cover ideas, commissions art, and executes their ideas into the final cover and interior of each book, as well as working with our Production team, through proofing process and color correction, to finished book.

The Designer must have a strong creative sense and the ability to be inventive while keeping the focus on the target audience.

Proficiency in Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator in particular) are a must.

Excellent communication skills, and an eagerness to learn.

3 to 5 years relevant experience is required.
