Sr. Product Manager, Data Products

Job Description

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager to join our Product team. We're building the future of television and growing to support new platforms while continually evolving existing products. As Sr. Manager, Product, you will develop and maintain the SHOWTIME and Showtime Anytime applications across a variety of devices and platforms.

What you will do
• Lead the development of select multi-platform product initiatives (which could span Android, iOS, tvOS, Roku, Web and others) working with internal and external (vendor) teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements that reflect the premium brand of Showtime
• Craft detailed product requirements including user stories, functional specifications, user flows, and wireframes
• Engage with cross-functional team members in program management, design, and engineering to finalize requirements in accordance with project timelines
• Collaborate with product and design teams so we can provide our users with an intuitive and consistent user experience across platforms
• Maintain the product backlog(s) and communicate daily with developers, QA testers, and other stakeholders to set priorities, clarify requirements, remove blockers, and triage and/or validate issues
• Work with internal teams to identify, prioritize, and schedule back-end development work needed to support front-end development
• Aggregate themes from customer feedback, product data, and industry trends to educate the team and help build the product roadmap
• Conduct competitive research and compile reports and presentations to help inform Showtime's product strategy in select areas

Who you are
• You have 3-5 years of product management experience working on media and entertainment applications for web and other platforms (i.e. iOS, tvOS, Android, Roku, etc. )
• You are an avid consumer of television with a deep understanding of the streaming video ecosystem
• You have an eye for detail and a real passion for user experience
• You are a superb written and verbal communicator with excellent time-management skills
• You are self-motivated and always looking to improve
• Ideally you have experience working directly with one or more of the major streaming app platforms (Apple, Android, Roku, etc.)
