Job Description

Showtime Networks is looking for a backend Software Engineer to join its Product Engineering team, located in New York City. As part of the team, you'll use alternate JVM languages, continuous delivery, NoSQL, microservices, Spring Boot, and more. We are responsible for all backend support for Showtime's two streaming services, SHOWTIME and Showtime Anytime, across web, iOS, tvOS, Roku, Chromecast, Android mobile, Android TV, Fire TV, Fire tablet, Samsung TVs, LG TVs, Oculus, PS4, PS5 and Xbox One.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for roughly 3 + years of hands-on development experience with Java or similar language, ideally using Spring.

We test our stuff like crazy, so hopefully you think TDD is nice.

Additional Skills:

Experience with other languages or tools such as Node, Kotlin, Groovy or Python gets us excited.
