Position Summary:

We are seeking a Manager, Multi-Platform Interstitial Planning and Scheduling that will be responsible for implementing non-linear promotion plans with partners such as Hulu, Apple, Roku, etc! Optimizing promotional schedules as well as commissioning and trafficking promotional elements for their assigned non-linear platforms. Responsible for the daily scheduling of assigned linear channels within Showtime Networks. The Manager will post analyzing all plans and schedules for adherence to plan parameters and pre-determined metrics.

Principal responsibilities:

(30%) Scheduling
• Implement and build the promotional schedule across partners and platforms, recognizing the characteristics of each.
• Build and deliver non-linear schedules to partners, including all necessary revisions
• Manage promotional flight information for non-linear
• Commission and traffic promotional elements to be scheduled on partner platforms for non-linear
• Counsel partner departments on promotional priorities that align with overall media planning principles and scheduling strategy
• Author briefs for the building of promotional elements and assets when applicable

(30%) Planning
• Develop promotional strategy for all platforms and partner sites.
• Set annual priorities and media levels for promotion that impacts each platform. Develop individual media plans for each program campaign.
• Develop plans to coordinate marketing efforts with asset roll outs that meet partner requests. Direct windowing strategy of content between PR, digital and on-air.
• Develop presentations for strategic campaigns, stunts, and high priority promotional schedules.

(20%) Cross Marketing Collaboration & Communication
• Represent Multi-Platform Interstitial in cross departmental meetings, which may include: Brand & Program Marketing, Brand & Digital Marketing, Campaign Management, Creative, Research, Sports, and Programming on key network priorities.
• Participate in long-range task force meetings with these groups to harmonize strategy and improve promotional opportunities. Brainstorm and implement new approaches to increase Showtime's competitive edge.

(20%) Analysis & Reporting
• Competitive analysis - Monitor competitive business and develop additional strategies by exploring what others are doing on various platforms and networks.
• Campaign analysis - Use multi-platform modeling tools to translate campaign blueprints and forecasting from media weight percentages to linear GRP and non-linear Impressions data for inclusion in interdepartmental media plans.
• In-season & post-mortem reporting - Provide inputs and insights for campaign assessment docs (including early season, mid-season, and post-finale reports), comparing benchmarks, noting successes & challenges, and providing recommendations for future campaign optimization.

It is paramount to the success of this position that the Manager alerts management to any strategic changes or any departmental issues concerning any philosophical shifts building or creative! The Manager needs to provide updates from inter-department meetings regarding the Multi-Platform Interstitial department.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in On-Air Promotions, Media Planning, Programming, Agency Traffic and/or Operations.
• Requires a strong knowledge of the linear and non-linear interstitial process and environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of the IBMS broadcast scheduling system (or similar system) along with the ability to develop and implement media presentations using Power Point, Excel and Word.
