Overview:

As a key member of the Media, Marketing Strategy & Insights team, the Manager, Program (Project) Management is a strong project manager and encouraging leader with an ability to drive initiatives forward and lead cross functional teams. They will be a steward of internal process initiatives striven to increase efficiency and collaboration across our Marketing department.

This Manager will be assigned multiple, concurrent strategic projects from the Media, Marketing Strategy & Insights team portfolio and the larger Marketing Department portfolio. They will apply project management standard methodologies to collect seemingly disparate information and synthesize it into an accessible and organized plan of action. They will then lead the project team to launch this plan through the execution, monitoring, and closure phases.

They will also be a valued collaborator within the team acting as a facilitator between the team and other groups they work with to collect key data points, set achievements, and broker timely requests. Additionally, they will partner with outside agencies that support the team to make sure accurate systems are in place for a smooth working relationship.

The Manager will champion communication, collaboration, and documentation throughout the Marketing department. Additionally, they will develop systems to enhance cross department collaboration and information-sharing. They will regularly supervise working sessions with teams on how to best implement these systems for maximum efficiency and constantly seek out feedback for how to improve them.

Responsibilities:
• Drive the end-to-end effort to operationalize and measure/track key strategic cross-functional initiatives through management of project scope, deliverables, routines, and tasks
• Partner with VP, Program Management to apply strategic frameworks to organize and synthesize thinking for complex marketing initiatives and projects that provide foundational value for SHOWTIME's marketing organization
• Plan and facilitate working sessions between all partners, developing new processes in collaboration with marketing and other teams
• Handle multiple viewpoints from business partners across departments on ambiguous topics in order to build consensus and achieve positive outcomes
• Employ standard processes & continuously find opportunities to improve processes and standards of the team
• Create and own project plans, charters, and other documentation and workflows

Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years working in project / program management with shown success driving cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Comfortable speaking publicly to large audiences and capable of answering questions about projects
• Ability to self-guide and identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Must be able to build and maintain relationships with people from many different levels both inside and outside the company
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
