Showtime is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and energetic designer to join our creative team. The right candidate will bring a tireless spirit, a bias toward innovation, a highly sophisticated design sensibility, a desire for creative risk taking and a commitment to doing the best work of their lives.

The designer will partner with a team of art directors across multiple campaigns to establish rich visuals for our series, films, documentaries, sports and the Showtime brand itself. The designer will help craft the visual tone for how consumers perceive our content wherever they experience it.

The primary job function is to help concept and design an array of video and digital assets for use in broadcast, out of home and digital/social tactics. While highly varied in style, your work on these projects will help define the visual identity of the Showtime brand.
Objectives:

Support the continued expansion of the creative and technical potential of the design studio. Evolve and maintain the visual brand language of the network and network programming. Drive new and better ways to collaborate within the studio and across teams.

Responsibilities:
• Build eye-catching ads for Showtime subscription and partner marketing.
• Create thumb-stopping GIFs and graphics for social media.
• Design images and GIFs to entice our email subscribers.
• Establish sharp, clean, and modern templates for our streaming partners (Hulu, Roku, Amazon).
• Collaborate with designers and animators to find the best solutions across production, design, and animation jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven ability to achieve a premium aesthetic quality.
• Articulate in communicating and defending design rationale.
• Strong layout and typography skills.
• Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Adobe After Effects experience.
• Adobe Animate experience.
• Take initiative in seeking information.
• Desire to maintain efficient workflow to meet all deadlines.
• Ability to build style guides.
• Work within brand systems and help to expand them.
