Job Description
Sesame Workshop seeks a Senior Manager, International Brand Marketing. The Sr. Manager will manage international marketing efforts for our Media & Education and Social Impact divisions.

The Senior Manager is responsible for developing marketing strategies and executing plans to elevate the overall brand and mission of Sesame Workshop and its growing international programs. In collaboration with the Marketing & Communications, country, and business teams, the Senior Manager will support local brand, program, distribution, and partner-related needs, including launch campaigns, franchise planning, licensing, brand management, and creative development.
Our International Media & Education business is responsible for the distribution, licensing, and themed entertainment of our Sesame Workshop properties across the globe. Our International Social Impact programs reach many children who would otherwise have little or no access to early childhood education and support all aspects of children's development – including cognitive development in areas such as early literacy and math, healthy habits, and social-emotional well-being and resilience. 

Responsibilities
• Support international marketing and franchise planning across key M&E and ISI territories, including Australia, China, Japan, Germany, UK, Mexico, South Africa, India, and Bangladesh
• Work alongside country and business teams and the larger Marketing Communications team on marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Manage bi-weekly meetings with key territories to align on goals and plans; manage bi-monthly meetings as a forum to share best practices, project case studies, and info-share
• Develop and update centralized international marketing calendar for teams to access information and global/local assets
• Manage and curate editorial for bi-monthly International Marketing newsletter
• Develop and review partner pitch decks as needed
• Serve as a key point of contact for international broadcaster relations: marketing, cross-promotions, PR tours, and more. Lead brainstorm of activities to support broadcast partners and their tentpole events. Establish a schedule of bi-monthly meetings
• Work with Brand Creative and Production to oversee the development of international marketing assets, brand materials, logos, ad-hoc International Muppet photo shoots. Liaise with territory teams to ensure accuracy of translations and communicate nuances back to the team
• Manage the development of creative assets for territory specific, geo-targeted marketing campaigns, initiatives and new content launches
• Manage overall global marketing licensing needs including review of product lines, retail executions, collaborations, and related marketing and promo material
• Collaborate with country and business teams on RFP materials and selection process for licensing agents, toy partners, etc., lead marketing onboarding for new licensing agents and licensees
• Explore opportunities to elevate Sesame Workshop's nonprofit mission to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder
• Ensure global brand consistency across all programs, communication channels, and partnerships
• Appropriately balance stakeholder desires, business needs, marketing standards, and brand identity
• Leverage research, reports, and data to support stakeholder business solution strategies
• Manage and oversee marketing asset library, including presentations, sales materials, videos, and photography

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience 
• 5-7 years of international marketing experience
• Seasoned media professional, preferably in children's media 
• Ability to partner with stakeholders to write thorough and actionable creative briefs
• Knowledge of marketing best practices in the B2C and B2B fields both in traditional and emerging channels
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing plans in different markets
• Expert skills in PowerPoint
• Strong multi-tasker and project manager with excellent organizational skills
• Foreign language skills a plus
• Ability to travel outside the United Stated as needed
