We are looking for a Bilanzhuchhalter / Senior Accountant for Scanline VFX and Eyeline. The Senior Accountant will assist with full-cycle accounting and consolidation for 4 German entities for submission to Netflix. We are the subsidiary for a multinational, entertainment streaming service looking for exceptional and dedicated professionals to build our team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform full-cycle accounting for Scanline VFX GmbH, Eyeline Studios GmbH, L.A.G and Flowline Accounts payable across multiple entities and business streams
• Reconcile related party balances and transactions across multiple entities
• Month end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Flux analysis of all accounts
• Provide accurate financials to Netflix, with reconciliation of local GAAP to US GAAP
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements
• Assist Controller with period end closes, including year-end external audits and tax returns
• Assist Controller with ad-hoc, high priority projects
• Assist Production and Finance Team with data collection and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Proven experience in a similar capacity
• Financial qualification or related educational qualification a plus
• Experience in public practice a plus
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and German reporting regulations
• Advanced knowledge in Excel, including pivot tables
• Positive attitude and self starter
• Willingness to take on added responsibilities
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Business level German language proficiency
• Respect for confidentiality and discretion
