Layout Supervisor (Expression of Interest)

As a Layout Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the layout team and the story-telling shot sequence continuity, and presentation as part of the VFX pipeline for feature film and/or high-level television.

Key Responsibilities/ 담당업무
• Create visually striking composition based on the shot description and/or storyboard
• Match references such as previs and/or images
• Supplement shots with simple but convincing animation, lighting, and FX to aid story-telling
• Stitch plate-based shots into a full CG environment and vice versa
• Assemble the correct combination of assets in a shot for use in downstream departments
• Include proof of scale and continuity in a virtual layout setup
• Debug technical problems and escalate issues as needed
• Take directions and applies notes from supervisors

• 스토리텔링을 돕기위해 간단하지만 설득력있는 Animation, Lighting, FX로 샷을 보완
• Full CG, 플레이트 기반의 샷 스티칭 작업
• Downstream 부서에서 활용할 수 있도록 샷 요소들을 올바르게 구성
• 버추얼 레이아웃 셋업에서 크기 및 컨티뉴이티 검토
• 기술적 문제를 해결하거나, 필요한 경우 문제 상황을 정확하게 보고하실 수 있는 분
• 슈퍼바이저의 지시나 참고 사항들을 잘 적용해낼 수 있는 분

Qualifications/ 채용조건과 우대조건
• Minimum five (5) years of layout experience in visual effects for feature films or television
• Proven team leadership and supervision skills
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in the field of arts, film, and/or animation (preferred)
• Advanced software skills in Maya (required)
• Basic to Intermediate skills in 3ds Max, Photoshop, Shotgun, Nuke, and Scripting (preferred)
• Extensive skillset in-camera animation, staging, and set dressing
• Great sense of presentation via lighting, texturing, and/or FX
• Solid animation grounding for story-telling purposes
• Background or experience in traditional Fine Arts demonstrating a thorough understanding of framing and composition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player with a great attitude
• Great eye for detail with excellent and consistent quality assurance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• 3ds Max, Photoshop, Shotgun, Nuke, Scripting 중급 스킬 (우대)
• in-camera animation, staging, set dressing 대한 기술 보유자
• Lighting, Texturing, FX를 활용한 레이아웃에 대해 프레젠테이션 능력이 뛰어난 분
• 스토리텔링 목적을 위한 애니메이션 기초가 탄탄한 분
• 프레이밍과 구도에 대한 이해를 뒷받침할 수 있는 전통 미술 백그라운드를 보유하신 분
• 뛰어난 커뮤니케이션 및 대인 관계 기술; 훌륭한 팀워크 태도를 가진 분
• 우수하고 일관된 퀄리티를 만드는 데 필요한 세심한 시각을 가지신 분
• 문제 해결 능력이 높으신 분
• 최소한의 관리 감독을 받으며 독립적으로 작업하실 수 있는 분
