We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer to help us create the next generation of film and VFX production tools. You'll be working closely within a specialized team to come up with new and novel approaches to creative and artistic processes within the film realm. User experience is number one, so we're looking for someone with a passion for how people interact with creative applications that is also detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities
• Create intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces for our platform
• Extend and refine our existing platform and front-end libraries, with a focus on creative applications such as canvases, video timelines and interactive graphs
• Develop Custom Components and Widgets: Utilize your strong knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript to develop and extend our library of reusable components and widgets
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of the UI with backend functionality
• Your collaboration will be key in developing tools that meet both technical and creative requirements
• Integration with Backend Systems: Work with RESTful APIs and other data integration techniques to ensure smooth data flow between the user interface and the backend systems
• Technical Documentation: You will be building a platform and libraries that other developers can use.
• Well structured and organized code, with detailed documentation is essential

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in various projects
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, typescript and SASS/SCSS
• You don't rely on libraries and plugins, you understand how browsers work at a deeper level
• You have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify and address usability issues
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs or other data integration techniques

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with WebGL, and HTML5 Canvas is a major advantage
• Proficiency with Python and object oriented practices is a plus
