Job Description

Reporting to the Compositing Supervisor, the Compositor harmonizes all layers and elements to create the final and complete shot for live-action feature films. Working primarily in Nuke, they are responsible for continuity and understanding the full CG process.

Key Responsibilities
• Establish looks and/or follow set style direction
• Understand and follows production guidelines; solves design and/or effect challenges for key visual effects shots.
• Receive and implement feedback quickly and effectively
• Collaborate with other compositors to ensure shots are delivered to highest standard and on schedule
• Mentor and advise junior compositors; share knowledge and techniques
• Escalates issues as needed

Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years live-action feature film composting experience
• Intermediate to Advanced Nuke Skills
• Excellent knowledge of compositing workflow; directory structure, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies etc.
• Eye for detail, colour matching, light, understanding in Camera and ability to QA own work
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Ability to take direction positively
• Ability to communicate in English and Korean

Preferred Qualifications
• Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience
• Traditional art background an asset
• Scriptwriting skills an asset

합성 전문가는 모든 레이어와 여러가지 촬영된 요소들을 적절하게 조합하여 실사 영화를 위한 최종 결과물을 만들어 내는 일을 담당하며 Compositing 수퍼바이저에게 업무를 보고 하게 됩니다. 주로 뉴크에서 작업하며, 전체 CG 프로세스를 이해하고 각 샷들이 일관성있게 연출될 수 있도록 돕는 역할을 담당합니다.

담당업무
• 룩을 설정 하고, 연출에 맞추어 작업해야 합니다.
• 프로덕션 지침을 이해하고 준수하며, 주요 시각 효과 장면 내 디자인이나 연출 이펙트에 대한 문제를 해결해야 합니다.
• 신속하고 효과적으로 피드백을 받고 구현해내야 합니다.
• 담당 수퍼바이저나 클라이언트의 피드백을 신속하고 효과적으로 구현하여야 합니다.
• 다른 합성 전문가들과의 협업을 통해서 최고 수준의 작업을 스케줄에 맞춰 제공할 수 있어야 합니다.
• 신입 합성 아티스트들을 지도하고 지식과 테크닉을 공유합니다.
• 필요한 경우 발생된 문제들을 신속히 보고할 수 있어야 합니다.

최소 자격
• 2년 이상의 실사 영화 합성 전문가 경력
• 중급에서 고급 수준의 뉴크 컴퍼지팅 기술
• 합성 워크플로우에 관한 탁월한 지식 (예: 디렉터로 구조, 파일 형식, 명명 규칙, 스크립팅, 자동화 툴 그리고 데일리 등)
• 디테일을 볼 수 있고, 색감을 맞추고, 조명과 카메라를 이해하는 능력 및 자신의 작업에 대한 QA(Quality Assurance)능력
• 우수한 조직력과 시간 관리 능력
• 지시 사항을 긍정적으로 받아들이고 수행할 수 있는 능력
• 영어와 한국어로 의사소통할 수 있는 능력

선호하는 자격
• 학사 학위 혹은 그에 준하는 실무 경험
• Traditional Art 백그라운드가 있는자
• 스크립팅 기술 보유자
