CFX Artist

Job Description

As a CFX Artist, you will be responsible for delivering photo-realistic, high-quality production hair and cloth simulations and other realistic 3D visual effects.

Key Responsibilities
• Run simulations for shot production
• Troubleshoots and provide revision based on the feedback from supervisor or client
• Model shot and/or clean existing hair/cloth simulations
• Support pipeline animation principles, timing, and departmental interdependencies
• Communicate and partner with the CFX department on an ongoing basis regarding updates, changes, and general status updates

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum two (2) years of CFX simulation experience in live-action visual effects for feature films or similar production environment
• Experience delivering complete milestones/tasks under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as a team player
• Quick learner with strong troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Maya, Python, and Mel Script experience

CFX 아티스트는 CFX 리더쉽 (수퍼바이저/ 팀장) 에게 보고를 하고, 실사에 가까운 높은 수준의 헤어, 클로스 시뮬레이션 등 실사 3D VFX의 제작에 참여합니다.

담당업무
• 샷 제작을 위한 시뮬레이션을 실행하고, 수퍼바이저 또는 클라이언트의 피드백에 기반하여 트러블슈팅과 수정을 진행합니다
• 샷 모델링 및 기존 헤어/ 클로스 시뮬레이션 정리를 담당합니다
• 파이프라인, 애니메이션, 원칙, 타이밍, 그리고 파트간 상호 의존성에 서포트를 합니다
• 신규 및 변동사항 및 전반적 상황 공유와 관련하여 지속적으로 CFX 부서의 파트너들과 소통합니다

최소 자격
• 장편 영화 또는 이와 유사한 프로덕션 환경에서 최소 2년간 CFX 시뮬레이션 경험
• 빠듯한 마감 기한 안에 태스크/마일스톤 납품 경험
• 구두 및 서면 상의 소통 능력 우수
• 디테일을 보는 예리한 안목과 뛰어난 업무관리능력
• 최소한의 관리감독 하에 자체적으로 작업할 수 있어야 하고, 팀/팀원간 협력에 능해야 함
• 학습속도가 빠르고 뛰어난 트러블슈팅/문제 해결 능력 보유

선호하는 자격
• 학사 학위 또는 이와 동등한 경험
• Maya, Python 및 Mel Script 경험 우대
