Job Description

Eyeline Studios is seeking an accomplished Director of VFX Production to lead our Seoul-based team through all stages of VFX project delivery, from pre-production to final handoff. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for the strategic, creative, and operational success of the studio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a dynamic, people-oriented leader with over ten years of hands-on VFX production management experience within a studio or production company. The ideal candidate is a native Korean speaker with deep expertise in the local content production ecosystem and fluency in English to collaborate with global partners. You will oversee production operations, mentor regional staff, manage client relationships, and champion innovative workflows for continuous improvement and operational excellence at Eyeline Studios.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all active productions in Seoul, ensuring projects stay on budget and on schedule. Serve as the primary escalation point for VFX project issues
• Analyze cost report metrics and title schedules, offering data driven recommendations to improve efficiency and ensure on-time delivery
• Guide resource allocation and title prioritization across all active projects in Seoul
• Supervise and mentor regional production staff, providing training and fostering company culture
• Guide the technology training team to develop curricula that advance artist skills and support adoption of generative workflows
• Liaise with Netflix APAC (excluding India) to align business objectives with production goals. Partner with internal and external teams to support diverse projects
• Collaborate with global VFX Production leaders to maintain consistent standards and efficiency across regions. Identify workflow gaps and automation opportunities; work with technical teams to implement effective solutions
Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in VFX production management roles, ideally within a studio or VFX production company, with proven leadership of large teams (50+ people)
• Thorough understanding of production and post production processes, and the knowledge of the broader Korean film business ecosystem
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and resource management skills, with a track record of overseeing multiple complex project schedules
• Excellent bi-lingual (written and verbal) communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively across cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem solving abilities; able to make proactive decisions and drive continuous improvement under pressure
• People oriented leader, adept at mentoring, fostering teamwork, and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

• VFX 프로젝트 관련 이슈에 대한 주요 대응 창구 역할 수행
• 비용 보고서 지표와 각 타이틀의 일정을 분석하여, 효율성 향상과 기한 내 납품을 위한 데이터 기반의 개선 방안 제시
• 서울 내 모든 진행 중인 프로젝트의 리소스 배분과 타이틀 우선순위 조정
• 지역 프로덕션 스태프를 감독 및 멘토링하며, 교육을 제공하고 회사 문화를 조성
• 기술 교육팀을 이끌어 아티스트의 역량을 강화하고 생성형 워크플로우 도입을 지원할 수 있는 교육 커리큘럼 개발 지도
• 넷플릭스 APAC(인도 제외)과 협력하여 비즈니스 목표와 프로덕션 목표를 일치시키고, 내부 및 외부 팀과 협력하여 다양한 프로젝트 지원
• 글로벌 VFX 프로덕션 리더들과 협력하여 지역 간 일관된 기준과 효율성 유지
• 워크플로우 상의 문제점과 자동화 기회를 파악하고, 기술팀과 협력하여 효과적인 솔루션 구현
자격요건
• 스튜디오 또는 VFX 프로덕션 회사에서 15년 이상의 VFX 프로덕션 관리 경력을 보유하고 있으며, 50명 이상의 대규모 팀을 이끈 입증된 리더십
• 프로덕션 및 포스트 프로덕션 프로세스에 대한 깊은 이해와 한국 영화 산업 생태계 전반에 대한 지식
• 여러 복잡한 프로젝트 일정을 총괄한 경험이 있는 뛰어난 조직력, 프로젝트 관리 및 리소스 관리 능력
• 다양한 부서 및 문화 간 협업 경험이 풍부한 탁월한 한영(문서 및 구두) 커뮤니케이션 능력
• 뛰어난 비즈니스 감각과 전략적 사고, 문제 해결 능력을 갖추고 있으며, 압박 속에서도 선제적으로 의사결정을 내리고 지속적인 개선을 주도할 수 있는 역량
