Golden 1 Center is an iconic sports and entertainment venue located in the heart of Sacramento, California. Home to the Sacramento Kings, this state-of-the-art arena hosts a wide range of events, from NBA games to concerts, live performances, and special events that offer unforgettable experiences to fans and visitors alike.

Golden 1 Center is seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Stage Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of all home basketball games and supporting various entertainment needs within the arena. As an Assistant Stage Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our fans and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coordination:
• Work closely with the Entertainment team to plan and execute all aspects of basketball games and entertainment events.
• Collaborate with production staff, performers, and crew to ensure smooth load-in, setup, and load-out of stage equipment and props.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure all technical and logistical requirements are met.

Stage Management:
• Oversee the setup and operation of the stage during events.
• Maintain a detailed cue sheet and timing schedule to ensure all elements of the show run on time.
• Communicate effectively with performers, artists, and technical staff to ensure a successful performance.

Safety and Emergency Preparedness:
• Prioritize safety and emergency protocols during events, ensuring the well-being of all participants and attendees.
• Be prepared to respond to any unforeseen issues or emergencies that may arise during events.

Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Entertainment Manager and Event Operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as audiovisual, security, and hospitality, to meet event requirements.

Equipment Management:
• Oversee the maintenance and inventory of stage equipment and props.
• Coordinate equipment transportation and storage as needed.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in stage management, event coordination, or related roles is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Enthusiasm for sports and entertainment events is desirable.

Compensation:
• $15.50/hr
