The Overview:

We are excited to be looking for a hardworking Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our growing Multicultural Marketing & Communications team! This exciting team is responsible for developing culture-driven communications strategies and initiatives that thoughtfully connect our brand and entertainment clients to multicultural and diverse audiences.

We are looking for an ambitious PR and communications strategist who is savvy and up to date with multicultural consumer trends, behaviors and insights. You will use your prowess in conducting in-depth research to identify new opportunities and consumer preferences to support and inform campaign creations, strategies, and recommendations.

The Fine Print:
• This role will be responsible for helping to inform multicultural PR and DEI strategies and recommendations for clients across the media, tech, entertainment and food & beverage industries.
• You will help guide and actively participate in strategy development sessions and brainstorms.
• You will take ownership for assessing the cultural landscape and staying up to date on what's trending and what's relevant within multicultural and diverse communities.
• This role supports in handling strategic partnerships on behalf of clients by identifying and cultivating relationships with key media contacts and culturally relevant organizations that appeal to multicultural and diverse communities.
• You will have responsibility in maintaining solid relationships with media and supporting some earned media efforts.

The Needs:

You will bring your experience and knowledge to our brand and entertainment clients. You are committed to elevating purpose-driven campaigns that connect our clients with diverse consumers. You are an outstanding PR strategist who understands how to conduct research, develop an analysis, and turn findings into easy-to-understand narratives for various stakeholders. An awareness of how to merchandise information to clients.
• 3+ years PR experience (agency experience preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, AP Style proficient.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with other team members.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Cultural competency and understanding of diverse consumers and their experiences.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Creative thinker with analytical aptitude.
• Ability to quickly grasp clients' business needs, assess what's trending in the cultural landscape, and connect the dots in order to inform timely media opportunities and strategies for clients.
• Experience working as part of an integrated cross-functional marketing team, representing the PR POV across workstreams.
• Stays positive and productive while under pressure
• A solid track record of developing and implementing relationships with media in order to generate buzz and coverage
