Responsibilities

The Overview:

We are looking for an Account Manager to support our Brand Experience team by leading consumer experiential events, internal events, and customer hospitality events, on behalf of a major Financial Services client.

The AM will assist the Vice President with all planning and executional tasks involved in bringing events to life, including reoccurring consumer events at an MLB ballpark, VIP hospitality programming at numerous major events, and consumer activations at a variety of collegiate properties. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently is a requirement for this position.

The Fine Print:
• Day-to-day account management support of one of the agencies' largest brand clients
• Lead day-to-day client relationship and present updates and recommendations
• Manage Account Executive tasked with day-to-day planning tasks
• Source and manage local market vendors as needed
• Run development and implementation of digital interactive experiences for consumer events, in conjunction with fabrication and digital vendors
• Source and lead event talent and entertainment
• Coordinate signage, décor, giveaways, F+B and branded elements with client, Creative + Content team, and vendors
• Manage ongoing status documents
• Attend weekly status meetings and provide client updates and recommendations as necessary
• Develop and manage detailed internal staffing work plans, Brand Ambassador staffing guides, and event Run of Show documents
• Assist in staffing major events, leading Brand Ambassadors and troubleshooting on-site challenges
• Create and reconcile event budgets
• Build activation plans and present post-event recaps
• Assist with additional events and Account team tasks as needed

The Needs:
• 4+ years of proven experience in an agency or similar sports/event industry setting
• Outstanding interpersonal skills – both written and verbal, along with unfailing attention to detail
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and driven to learn
• Strong time-management skills, including the ability to effectively balance multiple time-sensitive projects
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
• Managerial experience or interest in leading staff
• Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights throughout the year, as needed
• Ability to travel for event staffing – approx. 25% of time, pending travel restrictions
• High level PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook skills and a confidence to present internally and externally
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
