Roc Nation provides a full range of label services and revenue streams for Roc Nation artists, releases and label associations on a worldwide basis, including Marketing, Promotion, Commercial Development, Branding, Synch & Licensing, Lifestyle Marketing, Business Affairs and Finance.
How we LEAD:
The Roc Nation Production department manages production & distribution of third-party label content through UMG's physical and digital supply chains. Working in collaboration with the larger Roc Nation Music team, the Manager will coordinate and manage all production aspects relating to Roc Nation Music's release schedule, managing product setup and milestone tracking.
How you'll CREATE:
Product Setup & Scheduling:
• Management of initial new item setup & maintenance within UMG Business Systems – Atlas, Milestone, DIGS & Release Workspace
• Communicate to responsible parties regarding pending activities / issues requiring resolution
• Manage expectations and feasibility of requests and ensure regular updates are communicated to the Labels, Roc Nation Music team and UMG Supply Chain
• Maintain delivery deadlines to ensure all content meets the requested street date
• Submission of all digital content according to the Digital Supply Chain rules and standards
• Quality control of all artwork, audio and video submissions
• Artwork review for physical releases ensuring all files meet required specifications
• Develops relationships with production vendors, assists in budgeting & negotiating costs and timelines for special packages
• Quarterly catalog reporting (International and Domestic)
Coordination with Label Personnel and UMG Operations on all relevant production issues:
• Troubleshooting and problem solving on production related issues
• Label Training & Set Up in on scheduling and product setup procedures
• Label Onboarding and Catalog Ingestion
• Maintain relationships with supply chain leads for various partners to address issues in a timely manner
• Advises on best practice guidelines and functionality of production systems to assist and guide labels & Roc Nation Music Marketing/Commercial teams for execution of project rollout plans
• Communicate clearly with label partners about current state of products & deadlines
• A growing understanding of supply chain and production process facilitating an ability to foresee potential issues and provide workable solutions

• At least 2-3 years of previous production management experience or similar
• Adobe Creative Suite, Video Editing experience a plus
• Understanding of music operations in a social media context (i.e., Instagram Stickers, TikTok Sounds, etc.)
• Expertise on specific partner operations (i.e., Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch) a plus
